How to find Roselands Motel

Driving from Auckland (State Highway 2)
Roselands Motel Tauranga is located approximately 200 kms south of Auckland. The most scenic route takes you along State Highway 2 through Karangahake gorge and then along the coastal road. You will approach Tauranga via Tamatea Arikinui and Takitimu Drive. With the Waikareo estuary on your left you will pass a large flagpole on your right then take the Otumoetai exit to your left. At the lights turn right towards the city. Drive straight ahead (through another set of lights), then drive uphill. Remain in the left lane and turn left onto Brown Street. Roselands Motel Accommodation is 200 meters on your left. Drive in for check-in at our friendly motel and enjoy.
Driving from Hamilton (State Highway 29)
As you come down the Hill from Tauriko towards Tauranga you turn left at the first roundabout onto Takitimu Drive. (Takitimu Drive has a $1 toll but it is the most direct access to the city centre). Stay on Takitimu Drive for several kilometres. With the Waikareo estuary on your left you will pass a large flagpole on your right - then take the Otumoetai exit on your left. At the lights turn right towards the city. Drive straight ahead (through another set of lights), then drive uphill. Remain in the left lane and turn left onto Brown Street. Driving from Rotorua (State Highway 2)
Coming from Rotorua via State Highway 2 via Te Puke you travel towards Mount Maunganui. Follow the signs to Mount Maunganui and this will take you straight through the Te Maunga and Bayfair round abouts (you will see Bayfair shopping centre on your right). Keep the railway line and Golf Course on your left as you head down Maunganui Road. Move into the centre lane and take the overpass towards Tauranga onto Hewletts Road. Remain on Hewletts road until you have crossed the Harbour Bridge to Tauranga (approx 5 kms from Bayfair). On the Tauranga side of the bridge take the Otumoetai/City Centre exit and then turn left towards the city. Drive straight ahead (through a set of lights), then drive uphill. Driving from Tauranga Airport
From the airport take Jean Batten Drive. At the first set of lights turn left onto Hewletts Road and remain on this road until you have crossed the harbour bridge to Tauranga. On the Tauranga side of the bridge take the Otumoetai/City Centre exit and then turn left towards the city. Drive straight ahead (through a set of lights), then drive uphill.
